Quick to:

Issuing an environmental permit

Once the environmental permit has been issued, the local authority will draw up and send you the design for the exit ramp. Keep the following in mind:

  • You will need to take care of having the exit ramp constructed yourself.
  • The local authority has put the maintenance of roads out to contract. The contractors currently carrying out this work are: Thomassen (opens in new tab) and Tjepkema (opens in new tab).
  • You must request an offer from 1 or both of these contractors yourself. (You are free to request an offer from other good and reliable road construction companies, but you cannot engage them until we have approved the company.)
  • You will engage the chosen contractor yourself.
  • All costs for constructing the exit ramp (materials and labour) will be borne by you.
  • Additional work necessary for constructing or widening the exit ramp, such as moving a lighting column, tree or fire hydrant, will also be at your expense.
  • Once the exit ramp has been constructed, notify the local authority.
  • The materials supplied will become the property of the City of Leeuwarden.
  • Once the exit ramp has been constructed, it will be managed and maintained by the City of Leeuwarden.

Charges

  • The costs for processing your application are €243.91.
  • You pay the costs for the construction of an exit yourself. The amount of these costs depends on the work to be performed.
