Grant for insulating homes in East Leeuwarden

The grant is currently only available for over 40 selected homes in East Leeuwarden. The owners of these properties are already holding talks with the local authority.

From the end of 2024, more owners of homes in Leeuwarden East can apply for the subsidy.

• You are a home owner.
• You have a property in Bilgaard, the Vrijheidswijk, Oud-Oost or Heechterp-Schieringen.
• The value of your property is less than € 160,000.
• Your home is not yet properly insulated.

The local authority pays 80% of the cost of insulation up to a maximum of € 12,000.
