Civil Affairs
- The Civil Affairs (Burgerzaken) department works by appointment. Make an appointment via the relevant information page on the website.
- To apply for a passport, identity card or driving licence, you can also drop by without an appointment (free walk-in):
- Monday and Wednesday: 1.40 pm to 4 pm.
- Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8.30 am to 12 pm.
- You can collect your passport, identity card or driving licence during our opening hours. You do not need to make an appointment for this.
Permits
- You can drop by the Permits department from Monday to Friday, with or without an appointment: 8.30 am to 5 pm.
- On Thursday evenings, the Permits department only works by appointment: 5 pm to 7.30 pm.

Accessibility for people with a disability
The Town Hall is easily accessible from the Oldehoofsterkerkhof side for people with a disability. The entrance on the Nieuwestad side can only be accessed by stairs.
