Do you need help?

Meedenkpunt at Town Hall

Do you need help with or do you have questions about an unclear letter, a surcharge or information about your benefit? In that case, go to the Meedenkpunt (help centre) at the Town Hall. You can drop by without an appointment from Monday to Friday between 1 pm and 5 pm.

Civil Affairs

The Civil Affairs (Burgerzaken) department works by appointment. Make an appointment via the relevant page on the website. To apply for a passport, ID card or driving licence, you can drop by without an appointment at certain times. We call this the free walk-in. Go to the subject on this website to find out the days and hours for free walk-in. Keep in mind that you will have to wait longer if you do not have an appointment.

Accessibility for people with a disability

The Town Hall is easily accessible from the Oldehoofsterkerkhof side for people with a disability. The entrance on the Nieuwestad side can only be accessed by stairs.
