Settled complaints (complaint judgements)

The Open Government Act (Woo) is all about the right to obtain information from the government. The law also stipulates what information must always be disclosed. One such type of information is settled complaints.
On the Settled Complaints (complaint judgements) page you will see a list of the complaints settled by the City of Leeuwarden.

Decisions

This refers to written decisions by the City of Leeuwarden that affect individuals or companies. Residents and businesses can apply to the local authority for a permit or subsidy. The local authority must make a timely decision on these applications. The local authority can approve or reject an application. Some of those decisions are announced through the Overheid.nl website. In writing

Write a letter to the City of Leeuwarden containing the following information:

  • Subject ‘Woo request.
  • The subject you are asking information about.
  • The document you want to receive.
  • Your name, address and place of residence.
  • Your email address and telephone number (in case we have questions about your application).

When will you receive the information?

Once we have received your application, you will receive a response from the City of Leeuwarden within 4 weeks. The 4-week period can be postponed once by a maximum of 2 weeks.
