Newbuild plan ‘Wergea – Grut Palma West’ in Wergea
New homes are being built in Wergea by Harns Invest Development III B.V., on the west side of the village. The environment and planning permit has been granted, and sale of the homes started on 31 March.
Housing supply and availability
The plan includes a total of 58 owner-occupied houses, including both affordable and more expensive homes. The supply consists of detached houses, semi-detached houses, terraced and end-terraced houses and back-to-back homes. The possibility of lifetime homes has been taken into account. Zoning plan and image quality plan
The draft zoning plan and the draft visual quality plan were available for inspection from 21 December 2023 to 1 February 2024. Some parts of the plan have been amended based on the responses. The Municipal Executive presented the amended plan to the city council on 3 June 2025. The city council approved the plan on 9 July 2025. In October 2025, the zoning plan was finalised and the environment and planning permit was granted.
