The City of Leeuwarden has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO). This is an independent internal advisor and regulator that monitors the local authority’s compliance with privacy rules. These are rules such as the GDPR, the GDPR Implementation Act and other laws and regulations on processing personal data.
