Jongeren Perspectief Fonds (JPF)
In the Jongeren Perspectief Fonds (JPF) (Youth Prospects Fund), the City of Leeuwarden works with young people who have run into debt problems. Help is provided for young people between the ages of 18 and 27 who are unable to solve their debt problems.
How does the JPF work
You tackle your debts and your goals together with a coach from the City of Leeuwarden. A goal could take the form of a work placement, a diploma or a job.
What are the conditions for participating
- You are aged between 18 and 27.
- You live in the City of Leeuwarden.
- You do not expect you will be able to pay off your debts without help.
- You are willing and able to work on your goals.
Do you have debts and want to register
If so, you can sign up for an intake. Contact the City of Leeuwarden or send an email to jpf@leeuwarden.nl.
You have registered. What happens next?
Step 1
After submitting your application, you will be invited to an interview with one of the counsellors. Together, you will look into whether this project is right for you.
Step 2
Once you have decided to participate together, you make agreements with your coach. We will put down these agreements on paper. The agreements should concern your goals and how you will pay back your debts.
Step 3
Together with you, we will work to achieve your goals and pay back your debts.
