Election results

Voting for the upcoming city council elections will take place on Wednesday 18 March. All polling stations will count the votes in their ballot box for each party that evening (after 9 pm). On the day after the votes were cast (Thursday 19 March), the municipal electoral committee will recount all ballot papers and count all votes per candidate during the so-called central counting of votes. This counting will be public and take place at Stationskwartier, Snekertrekweg 1 in Leeuwarden. The counting will start at 8.45 am.

Publication and adoption

In the afternoon of Friday 20 March, all results for our municipality for each polling station and each candidate will be published on our elections page. Previous results are also available there. On Thursday 26 March at 11 am, the Central Electoral Committee will adopt the final results during a public session in the City Hall, Hofplein 38 in Leeuwarden.
