Vote counting

Polling stations close at 9 pm. The polling station workers count how many voters have voted. They do this by counting the number of valid poll cards, voter cards and proxy certificates. They also count the votes by party. All votes are laid down in a report (notarial record).

The next day, the local polling station counts all votes at party and candidate level at a central location.

Votes will be counted on Friday, 7 June 2024 from 9 am at Stationskwartier, Snekertrekweg 1, 8912 AA Leeuwarden. You may attend the vote count.
