What is a declaration of support?

A declaration of support is a written declaration that a voter makes to their local authority. With this statement, the voter shows that he supports a party’s participation in the House of Representatives election. The voter is not obliged to vote for this party in the election.  A voter may make only one declaration of support. Once a declaration of support has been made and handed in, the voter cannot withdraw it.
