Sustainable energy

The City of Leeuwarden has a ‘Duurzaamheidsprogramma Volhoudbaar’ (fully feasible sustainability programme) with five main topics: sustainable energy, climate adaptation, biodiversity, circular economy and own organization. We are working on a sustainable district and making homes more sustainable. Our aim is to maximise energy savings and generate energy as sustainably as possible.
