Personal data
Do you want to access your personal data, to have something deleted or corrected, or to object, lodge a complaint, receive a copy of a file or case or have a general question?
How to apply?
Did you know that the right to view data in the GDPR is intended to enable the local authority to check whether personal data is being used? And if so, whether this is done according to the law?
This does not mean that you will automatically receive a copy. Answering a few questions in the Personal Data Decision Tree will automatically take you to the right application form.
Are you requesting access to or copies for yourself or another person?
Logging in with DigiD is mandatory. You do not need to log in with DigiD for general questions.
Are you unwilling or unable to use this digital option?
Contact the City of Leeuwarden. We will note your details and you will be called to make an appointment.
More information
The City of Leeuwarden provides information about how it handles your personal data. You will find more information on how your personal data is used within the RIEC partnership on the page Contact point RIEC Noord-Nederland.
What is the RIEC?
The Regional Information and Expertise Centres (RIEC) support cooperating participants in tackling organised crime. Each RIEC has a Contact Point where you can ask questions about your personal data. For example, if you want to access your personal data, have something deleted or corrected, object, lodge a complaint, or have a general question.
