Download and complete the form Aanvraag huisnummerbesluit. Send the form to the City of Leeuwarden. You can also hand it in at the Town Hall.

A clear house number makes a building quickly and clearly findable. Ambulances, fire brigade, police and other emergency workers must be able to find a building quickly. This could be a matter of life or death.

• ‘Article 3’ states that the municipal executive determines numerical designations (e.g. house numbers) of residential properties. A residential property can be, for example, a home, shop, office, garage box.
