Training courses

The training courses reimbursed by the local authority:

  • Otago is a 3-month training programme for residents at high risk of falling. The workout consists of balance exercises and a walking schedule. You can trace once or twice a week at the physiotherapist’s. The Otago instructor decides, by mutual agreement, whether to train once or twice a week.

Participation

The local authority finds it important that every resident aged 65 and above can participate in a training programme. For that reason, you can join a training session once free of charge. Participation is for the entire 3-month training period at either In Balans or Otago.
